So many people have asked about Jose Luis’s Death and Dying class, that to fulfill the need right now, I am offering a class at my home. This class is to teach ceremony and ritual for those people in transition. I want people to have the tools to hold others sacred, and help with those transitions that are coming fast and furiously on the Earth right now.

Grief is a normal process of life. When we get in touch with grief, it actually creates more space inside of us, and allows our life force to flow through us, No matter where we are in our lives, it’s important for us to grieve, and acknowledge our thoughts and our feelings. When those parts of us don’t get acknowledged or listened to, dense energy and "dis-ease" can take hold within our bodies. 

During this one day workshop we will explore the 5 stages of grief, learn sacred ceremonies and rituals for each stage of grief, and learn how to work with families that are grieving from the loss of a loved one. You will also learn how to perform a despacho ceremony to help a loved one transition. 

This is a one day workshop for death doulas, hospice nurses, caregivers and anyone who would like to bring the sacredness to the end of life for a loved one. 

To maintain  the safety and health of all participants, I ask that everyone wear a mask. The facility will be clean, and the seating will be arranged so that everyone is 6 feet apart. I have plenty of hand sanitizer. I ask that everyone bring their own food to the venue. We will eat outside, and also have some ceremonies outdoors, so please bring layers of clothing to stay warm.
